About Frensham Trout Fishery Lakes
Frensham Trout Fishery has six stream fed lakes at Robinswood in Churt, on the edge of the Surrey Hills and surrounded by ancient woodland. The lakes differ in depth and size, and the fishery says more than a million gallons of water flows through the site every day, which gives plenty of natural fly life.
The fishery stocks rainbows, tigers, spartics, blues and browns, with the occasional local wild fish. Fishing is fly only and wading is not allowed. A day ticket is £55 for one fish, £62 for two or £69 for three. You keep your first fish, then carry on catch and release up to 8 fish. All wild fish and all stocked fish of 5lb and over are returned. Tickets are booked and paid for online at least 24 hours ahead.
The fishery is open every day of the year, with opening hours that change with the season, and is generally closed on Mondays in the winter. The gates have a coded lock, and the fishery sends you the code before your booking.
