About Frensham Trout Fishery
Frensham Trout Fishery is a day ticket fly fishery of six stream fed lakes at Robinswood, Churt, on the edge of the Surrey Hills, about five miles from Farnham. The lakes vary in depth and size, and the fishery says more than a million gallons of water flows through the site each day. It stocks rainbows, tigers, spartics, blues and browns, and the occasional local wild fish turns up. It is open all year.
Day tickets are for one, two or three fish to keep, at £55, £62 and £69. Once you have taken your fish you can carry on fishing catch and release, up to 8 fish. Juniors aged 16 and under pay less on the two and three fish tickets. All wild fish and all stocked fish of 5lb and over are returned. Tickets are booked and paid for online in advance.
The fishery suits experienced anglers and beginners, and tuition from an Angling Trust qualified coach can be arranged through the fishery manager, from £150 plus the price of the ticket. There is a free car park, toilets, a shop for flies, line and small accessories, and tea and coffee making facilities.
