About Llyn Cwmfoel

Llyn Cwmfoel covers 4 acres at about 1,100 feet, an hour and a half’s walk from Tan y Grisiau. The dam was breached in the early 1990s for safety reasons and has since been partly rebuilt to supply a water turbine, but not to its former level. The association says the lake is not up to its past productivity but still worth a cast, and fishes well with spinner or fly.
