About Cambrian Angling Association

Cambrian Angling Association was formed on 2 June 1885 at a public meeting in Blaenau Ffestiniog, to protect the fishing on the area’s lakes and rivers. It now has 18 lakes, with the streams that run to and from them, for trout anglers, and four rivers for salmon and sea trout: the Dwyryd, the Teigl, the Cynfal and the Goedol. The association’s waters lie mainly to the west of the A470, in the Moelwyn mountains, and to the east, on the Migneint.
