About Llyn Dubach y Bont

Llyn Dubach y Bont is a 3 acre lake at about 1,330 feet above Llan Ffestiniog, beside the B4407 towards Ysbyty Ifan, with parking at the lakeside. The association says tales of broken rods and big fish getting away are accepted as fact here, that a two pound trout is no rarity and that a trout of 3ยพlb was taken on a fly in 2003. The lake is heavily covered with lilies in summer, but there is open water by the roadside.
