About Llyn Dwr Oer

Llyn Dwr Oer is a small man made lake of less than an acre, at about 1,250 feet and 20 minutes’ walk from Blaenau Ffestiniog, formed to supply water to a nearby quarry. The association says fish were introduced and did well, the best reaching about half a pound, and that slate waste has affected the lake from time to time.
