About Afon Rhydhir, Pwllheli
Pwllheli and District Angling Association controls 1 mile of the Afon Rhydhir, which flows into the harbour at Pwllheli. Like the Erch it holds wild brown trout and has runs of sea trout from June to September, with salmon later in the year and the season open until the end of October.
The association says much of the Rhydhir is overgrown and inaccessible, and its website does not give the start and end of its mile, so the position shown is approximate. The combined river and lake tickets cover this river as well as the Erch and the lake, and the associationโs 2026 prices are on its permits page.
