About Brineton Pools

Brineton is the club’s pair of farm pools in a secure spot not far from the A5, near Wheaton Aston. The Wrekin pool was an irrigation pool and is thirty feet deep, so it drops in May and June but is usually topped up by rain, and browns do well in it. The Garden pool is the smaller, older and shallower of the two, at twelve feet. Evening rises to the buzzer are usually good, and there is a dedicated car park and a shed with chairs, a table and the returns book.
