About the River Aeron

The River Aeron, Afon Aeron in Welsh, is a small river in Ceredigion that flows into Cardigan Bay at Aberaeron. It rises at Llyn Eiddwen in the hills of Mynydd Bach and runs west, then north west, through a broad valley of low hills, passing Talsarn, Felinfach, Ystrad Aeron and Ciliau Aeron. A mile or so further on it runs close to the National Trust house at Llanerchaeron before entering the harbour town.
