About the River Gwili (Loughor)
The River Gwili, Afon Gwili in Welsh, is a right bank tributary of the River Loughor in the east of Carmarthenshire. It rises near Cross Hands and flows generally south, past the small village of Cwmgwili, to join the Loughor beyond Hendy, near Pontarddulais.
Carmarthenshire has a second River Gwili, a tributary of the Towy that joins it near Carmarthen. This is not that river. This one is a small stream on the Loughor side of the county.
