About the River Onny

The River Onny is a river in the south Shropshire hills and a major tributary of the River Teme. It starts on the high ground at White Grit as two branches, the East Onny and the West Onny, which meet at Eaton, east of Lydham. From there it flows south east through Craven Arms and Onibury and joins the Teme at Bromfield, just upstream of Ludlow. From source to confluence it runs about 25 miles.
