About Seiont, Gwyrfai and Llyfni Fishing Society, Cwm Silyn

Cwm Silyn is a remote llyn in the heart of Snowdonia that holds brown trout. The Passport says it is very lightly fished because of its distance from the road, an approximate one mile (1.59km) walk, and advises anglers to equip themselves adequately and always tell someone their destination. The society’s website calls it truly wild, with prolific wild brown trout, a drive then about a mile on foot that is easy and very scenic walking, and says you need only a fly rod.
