About Honddu Pandy
Pandy is a one mile stretch of the Honddu, a tributary of the Monnow. As well as the wild brown trout of the Honddu, this stretch also holds grayling. The Passport says it suits fly fishing with light gear on small rivers, and suggests a rod of 7 to 8 feet rated 2 to 4 weight.
It is fly fishing only, all species are catch and release, and dogs are not allowed. It is a Wild Stream beat: it is booked through the Fishing Passport, or fished on a Wild Stream Season Permit.
