About Teifi Pools (Llyn Teifi, Llyn Hir and Llyn Egnant)
The Teifi Pools are three lakes in the Cambrian Mountains, the source of the River Teifi, fished by Tregaron Angling Association. The club calls them legendary and says none of them is stocked, and that each has its own enticing characteristics. They are Llyn Teifi, Llyn Hir and Llyn Egnant.
Fishing is for brown trout, with one rod. Llyn Hir and Llyn Egnant are fly only; all legal methods are allowed on Llyn Teifi. The season runs from 3 March to 30 September. No more than four brown trout may be taken in a day and fish under 23cm must be returned. Tickets are sold online through Clubmate and the club’s ticket page does not say what they cost for the current season. The position shown is approximate.

Fishing rules for Teifi Pools (Llyn Teifi, Llyn Hir and Llyn Egnant)
A ticket issued for the association and a valid Natural Resources Wales rod licence are needed. Keep the Clubmate booking confirmation and show it if asked. Game fishing only, with one rod at a time and a rod only. Return all fish under 23cm. Take no more than 4 brown trout a day. Selling rod caught fish is banned. No dogs on land the association controls. Llyn Hir and Llyn Egnant are fly only for brown trout. All legal methods are allowed on Llyn Teifi. The season runs from 3 March to 30 September.
