About The Bont

The Bont is approximately ¾ mile (1.2km) of single bank fishing for sea trout (sewin), salmon and trout on the Eastern Cleddau, with 22 lies and pools in all. The Passport says there is a strong run of sea trout from mid May, when the larger fish run, to mid September. Some of the sewin hang around into October, but by then the main interest is the autumn salmon run. Brown trout can be caught all season.
