About the River Llynfi (Wye)

The River Llynfi is a short tributary of the Wye in Powys. It rises as a small stream near Bwlch, flows north for two miles into Llangorse Lake, and leaves the lake near Llangors. It then runs past Trefecca and Tredustan and between Talgarth and Bronllys, before passing Three Cocks to join the Wye just upstream of Glasbury Bridge. The Dulas and the Ennig are its two largest tributaries. A pollution incident in 2020 caused a large fish kill.
