About Bryn Ithon

Bryn Ithon is just under a mile of left bank on the River Ithon, just downstream of Llandrindod Wells. It offers the chance of wild trout, grayling and the occasional chub. The bed is a mixture of shale and bedrock, so the wading is quite difficult. Parking is about 650 metres from the start of the beat, and the Passport calls it a very underfished beat where reaching the water will be difficult, particularly in late spring and summer.
