About Mickleton Island

Mickleton Island is about 900 metres of single right bank fly fishing on the Tees near Mickleton village, for brown trout, grayling and salmon. The Passport says it is easy to reach and very easy to fish, an open beat with few trees or other obstacles, with runs, riffles and some deeper holding pools and some named salmon pools. Wading is simple, though a staff is always advisable.
