About River Clwyd, Pont Clwyd
Pont Clwyd is the association’s highest beat on the River Clwyd, near Llandyrnog. It is leased, about 1,000m of left bank below the road bridge at Pont Clwyd. It is a good deal further up the valley than the St Asaph beats, so it suits a visit when you would rather fish away from the town.
Booking is not required and visitor tickets are £20 for one day or £80 for five days, bought online through the association’s website. Park off the road near the bridge, about 1.3km down the lane from Llandyrnog, and display the association car sticker. The position shown is approximate.
